If you have recovered from COVID-19
Travellers can still fly even though you might have tested positive and soon recovered from it, you need to show a COVID-19 Molecular test (ANTIGEN) which is then collected at least days before your scheduled flight and not more than 180 days before entering Canada as per the requirements for recovered passengers.

ArriveCAN
Travellers need to submit their information through ArriveCAN. The travelers can use their desktop or phones to submit their proof of verification in English or French & a quarantine plan before arriving in the country.
Travellers who are not fully Vaccinated
Travelers who are not fully vaccinated need to submit a quarantine plan to exist for 14 days and take a mandatory COVID-19 test on arrival.
Fully-Vaccinated Travelers
Travelers do not need to quarantine upon arriving in Canada, only if they are meeting the following criteria :
- No symptoms
- pre-entry testing requirements
- All required COVID-19 information to ArriveCAN & present their ArriveCAN receipt
- Proof of Vaccination documents
- A suitable Quarantine plan
Random Tests On Arrival
The border service officers may randomly select you for a test. If you are fully vaccinated and you’re randomly selected for a mandatory arrival test. The officials may give you a self-swab kit at the airport or land border to complete within 24 hours after entering the country.
If you’re randomly selected for the on-arrival test. You will get the results to post reaching your final destination and take connecting flights, and you do not have to quarantine while waiting for your results.
The government of Canada says you can speed the process along by registering in advance with the testing provider for the airport you will arrive at using the same email address you used for ArriveCAN.
Modified quarantine for children age 12
Children under the age of 12 who are not fully vaccinated, traveling with fully vaccinated adults will be exempt from quarantine. They are no longer need to wait for 14 days before attending school, camp. But they will not be required to quarantine while awaiting the test result.
