Canada invited 1082 PNP Candidates in the recent Express Entry draw: A new Express Entry draw #216 was announced on 16th February 2022 in which Canada released invitations to 1,082 Express Entry Candidates. These candidates can now apply for the Permanent Residency in Canada. In order to get invited for this Express Entry, applicants must be nominated by PNP (Provincial Nominee Program). Candidates need to have a CRS Score (Comprehensive Ranking System) of a minimum of 710 points to get eligible for this Express Entry Draw. This cutoff score basically includes 600 points that are automatically awarded to the applicant when they get the nomination. This is the reason why the score in these PNP Express Entry Draw is significantly higher than the other draws. Apart from the points that are awarded to the applicants, candidates need just 110 CRS points.
In this Provincial Nominee Program Express Entry Draw, the CRS scores are increased by 36 points, however, the invitation of Permanent Residency in Canada got increased by 12 candidates

The tie-breaking rule for this draw states that the applicant who has submitted and filed their profile before October 07, 2021, at 11:36:55 UTC will be invited for the Express Entry. Express Entry PNP 2022 | Canada
As of now, it is expected to see the majority of PNP draws, however, as per the announcement made by Immigration minister Sean Fraser, Canada will soon be resuming the other draws such as FSWP (Federal Skilled Worker Program), CEC (Canadian Experience Class) and FSTP (Federal Skilled Trades Program), as this situation will be temporary.
In 2019 or before, most of the Express Entry invitations were sent to FSWP candidates. In 2021, most of the invitations were made for CEC candidates as compared to other programs, until it got resumed its CEC draw in the month of September.
