WORKING BODY: IRCC runs TFWP programs for immigrants jointly with Employment and Social Development Canada (ESDC).
WORK PERMIT: Temporary foreign workers program does not support open work permits. It means candidates who have applied for a job are only allowed to work for one specific employer.
International Mobility Program 2023
OBJECTIVE: The Objective of this program is to advance Canada’s broader economic, Cultural, and social policy objectives. It is done by allowing foreign workers to come to Canada and work in various fields.
LMIA REQUIREMENT: The International Mobility Program (IMP) is LMIA-exempt. For IMPs, IRCC is responsible for work permit applications.
