  • completed your entire studies being a full-time student;
  • had the work permit or visa required to study, work, or get trained while staying in Canada;
  • lived for 16 months in the last 24 months in any of the Atlantic provinces before graduation.

3. Educational requirements- You should fulfil the following eligibility criteria to take part in the Atlantic Immigration Program Canada:

  • You should have the educational credentials of 1 year of post-secondary or higher education or any equivalent educational credentials from outside Canada if your offer is under the NOC TEER category 0 or 1 ;
  • The candidate should have a high school diploma from Canada or the equivalent from outside Canada if your job offer is in the NOC TEER 2, 3, or 4 categories.

You need to prove that your studies are equal to the educational standards of Canada and get an  Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) if you studied outside Canada.

4. Language requirements- You need to fulfil the following language requirements for Atlantic Immigration Program Canada:
