Express Entry CRS Score Dropped Below 500 Points: The latest express entry 2022 draw was held on October 26. And this time IRCC issued 4,750 invitations to candidates in the pool with a CRS score of 496 or more. Since the express entry draws were resumed, the CRS score cut-off remained very high. And finally, it dropped below 500 points. Further, the cut-off will go lower in the future.
The candidates who have a score of 496 or above will receive ITA. And now they are supposed to submit all their documents for inquiry within 60 days.
Who can apply for Express Entry?
Express Entry is a system designed for foreign people to get Canadian PR. It is a pathway to PR that uses a scoring system to select candidates. There are sub-streams in it and anyone who meets the basic requirements for any one of the streams can apply for it.
- The Federal Skilled Workers Program
- The Federal Skilled Trades Program
- The Canadian Experience Class
These are the sub-streams in an express entry. The eligibility criteria are different for different streams. If you satisfy the requirements of any one of these categories, you can apply for it by creating an online. And when you will meet the CRS score cut-off you will receive ITA.
Documents Required
As mentioned above, one can apply for express entry by creating an online profile. And for that, you will require the following list of documents.
- a passport
- language test results
- proof of Canadian education
- provincial nomination (if you have one)
- job offer from a Canadian employer (optional)
Once you are done creating an online profile, you need to wait in the pool. And when you will meet the minimum CRS score requirement for a draw, you will get an ITA. After receiving ITA, one must submit all the documents to the IRCC for inquiry. And these documents must be submitted within 60 days. The following are the documents you need to submit.
- police certificates
- medical exams
- marriage certificates (if you have declared your marital status as married)
- copies of documents used in your profile
- other documents relevant to your application
