Benefits of Express Entry draws
The recommencement of draws will provide CEC candidates to stay in the country legally. This is because candidates when submitting their profile for PR, also get a chance to apply for a bridging open work permit (BOWP). Using BOWP provides them the consent to stay in the country for the time their application is being processed.
IRCC also stated to grant open work permits to those CEC candidates whose Post-Graduation Work Permit had recently expired or it is going to be expired soon. However, there is no information yet on when IRCC is going to accept these applications.
