Canada Invited 3,750 New Immigrants for Express Entry 2022: The latest express entry draw was held on September 28, 2022. In this draw, Canada issued 3,750 new invitations. Only those candidates who received ITA, who had a CRS score of 504 points or more. The candidates who got ITA can now submit documents for Canadian PR. Their documents will be processed for six months, then they will get the result. Express entry is a system through which people inside or outside Canada can get Canadian PR.
Express Entry Draw results
Express Entry is the pathway for Canadian PR. The government of Canada has created this process. And, using this process it selects candidates for PR from the express entry pool. Express Entry has three streams with different eligibility criteria. People who meet the requirements of any one of the streams can apply for it by creating an online profile. Then each candidate is awarded CRS points that are calculated based on several factors like age, qualification, or work experience. Then, express entry draws are held every two weeks and the candidates meeting the minimum CRS score for the draw receive an Invitation To Apply (ITA).
Afterward, candidates receiving ITA are supposed to submit their documents for inquiry within 60 days. And, based on the information provided by the candidates in the documents, the Canadian Government will take the decision. Currently, in 2022 the processing time for express entry profiles is 6 months.
